“A lasting personal memory from our ride to Khardung La, is of pushing the bikes in loose and deep sand, 14000 feet up in the Moray Plains. Revving the engine did nothing to push the bikes even an inch forward, but it painted us white from head to toe. 'Talcum powder' shouted a ghostly white silhouette and laughter followed. I have returned from 3 rides with TransTrails carrying memories to share - anecdotal, inspiring, and rib tickling. All thanks to some good organising and guiding by the man we call 'Chief'. A name that seems to suit him more than the name he was christened with. So when's the next ride, Chief?”

“Being a motorcycleaholic I enjoy being part of this company. I've been on two rides with them. One memorable trip was to Khardung la (it felt like Shangri la). Snow clad mountains that mirror the setting sun, sacred lakes, bridges that made our hearts beat faster, and deep valleys more beautiful than any cleavage. The snowfall and zero temperatures are now non-erasable images in my mind. The first ride was on my Hero Honda Splendor. It took the roads well, when there were roads... at times there weren't. “Ever since I learnt riding I wished I could do something really crazy on my bike! And I did. My trip to Bhutan with TransTrails was more than I dreamt of. Snowy mountains, sloping terrains, muddy roads, bloody moody weather, I could go on. If you ask for my favourite moments...one time we rode to Thimphu in Bhutan for 14 hours flat. The views were breathtaking and as it got darker, we were told to stay close to the hillside for safety. We romanced it for hours till we got to Thimphu.
